Dual booting XP SP2 as default, not Vista

Here is the easiest method to change boot priorities and defaults. dont change boot.ini, bcdedit.exe or bootmgr unless this does not work:
Start:right-click Computer: properties: Advance section. Choose starup & recovery section and choose to boot to the older version of windows by default.

Or you could use the tool they have at www.pro-networks.org called Vista Boot Pro. Works just fine, and will even change the name of the operating system on the boot menu. The "earlier version of windows" and "Microsoft Windows" was very odd looking, so I changed it to "Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" and "Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 2". -- Robert Firth
